What is this? Shocked
----------
U.P. WEBSITE CAMPAIGNS AGAINST RAUL
IF you open the blog of the University of the Philippines Visayas (UPV), you would read all reactions against Raul Gonzalez Sr.
One blogger called him “crazy.”
The UPV community is all out against this self-proclaimed “king” because they are afraid that should he win the forthcoming elections, the UPV campus will be reclaimed by the city government. It will disappear from the face of Iloilo City.
Even sympathizers of the state university all over the country are writing letters to their friends and relatives, warning them not to vote for the dangerous “king.”
UP students and their families also joined in this crusade to fight the forces of evil.

UP people are such ingrates.
Lolo Raul has put much effort in the development of the city.
Look at all those well-planned overpasses we have.

Ingrates.

 haha

I think it's not being ingrates or what have you because that's what public officials should do, they're there to develop the city. It's a matter of possession and to see what's on the document (provision) of original transfer of possession of that property from the city to UPV before. Does it say something about the city can get it from UPV at any time it wants or when politicians think they need it? If it says, then the city has the right to do it. If it doesn't have, the transfer of possession of that (currently) UPV property back to the city would require UPV's permission. The city MUST wait until UPV agrees to give the property back to the city.

Who's the journalist that wrote the report? If that "blog" refers to this forum site, then he/she should have called it forum site. Use of right terms is also very important. "Forumers" here are just posting comments based on what they think on specific topics and this does not represent the opinion of UPV students and alumni. I think the journalist was quoting jerberry the blogger who called gonzales crazy.  haha

Happy New Year!
