What do you think about Gloria Arroyo running for Congress after completing her term as President?
And why do you think she's running for Congress?

I observed the sinister plans of PGMA et al.  can be quite obvious.

In this case, PGMA will run for congress, become the house speaker, push for charter change, and make herself prime minister.

Otherwise, why would a president run for a lower position after more than 9 years at the height of power?
Did she forget to do something for Pampanga? She still has 6 months as president.
Does she think nobody else can do it other better than herself?
Or is she and her husband drunk with power?

It is legal, but IMHO very unfair for the incumbent president to run against other candidates for the same congressional seat. Do I need to elaborate?

clever way to stay in power... if course it's legal. the framers of our constitution has not anticipated (not even in their worst nightmare) that someone like Gloria will appear less than a generation after they drafted our charter.
