Oh? Really? Gosh! WHY? The math series add flavor to the course!!! Why would they take it away? Math series is important to CS. It's theorical so I think it must remain that way. Otherwise, it wont be computer science. How could a student understand and better analyze code or pseudocode optimizations if they knew little of math? Would you settle for a brute force type of codes?  oh no Well... maybe we could improve the course but not definely removing the math series. If the students wants the more applied area, then they must suggest a new course like BS IT.

It's because the Math series really killed a lot of hopes for graduating on time. That's why the ones who changed the curriculum thought that it would be best not to include it anymore. And I myself don't really see the use of math series in the current comp. sci. subjects, well maybe a little or i just didn't learn how to  ashamed. But maybe they just lack courses to connect the series to comp. sci. thus making them less appreciated then as time passes became more of a "subject to be passed" than a "subject to be learned" which in other words useless burden. I think it would be good to have a subject with all the needed math topics and their applications to cs. It would be like a "math in comp sci" series. haha

Math is for Programmers only. ComSci is the broadest course in the computer studies and it is more of theories of course. Actually, if you want to have a successful computer career, it is not necessary to enroll in computer courses because if you're a born to be techie guy, you must learn how to study in your own simple ways, in fact we have a lot of resources available in the internet. In the field of technology, diploma is not enough, what important is skill. That's why I prefer not to choose BS Compsci and just explore other courses, in the other hand, my career in computer is still in a great shape.

isang joke na narinig ko sa school:

Bakit ka nag.comsay?

...kasi, I love DOTA and I love Science.. Computer + Science = comsci

hahaha...
