Does anyone know exactly how much time a student has to complete an INC?
If I got an INC on a subject taken 2nd sem of year 1, can I complete it during the finals week of 2nd sem of year 2?

yeah rex. kuha ka lang ng form sa college sec then bayaran mo sa cash office then puntahan mo ung teaher na nag INC sau.  |

nagkatrauma man ko sa INC nga ini. Year 1 second Sem, I got INC in PE 2. But then I thought, there is a 1 year grace period. Then came Year 2 2nd Sem and ready na ko to remove the grade. I was just shocked to know na hindi na daw pwede i-remove coz naglapse na. According ni sa CM College Sec that tym. Naguluhan ko tuloy kung ano gid man ang range sang 1 year grace period. So, because of thing damn grade in PE, na-ban na ko to receive honorific scholarships... Waah, kasayang gd.

Whaaaat?!  So ano ba talaga? What is 'one year'?? I was able to complete an INC last sem (2nd sem) for an INC incurred second sem of the previous year. However, the CFOS College Sec staff told me I need to complete another INC I incurred last 1st sem because it is about to lapse.. but it's not even 1st sem yet..  |

Ask nlang ang college sect mismo or some other staff for clarification.. basi namiscalculate lng bla.. or maybe the staff also meant it will lapse in the first sem but said about to because a sem can pass by without being noticed.  |

for clarification sake.. if you incurred an INC during the first semester it will lapse on the first semester of thenext academic year (specifically a week after the finals). for an instance you incurred an INC on the FS, AY 2007-08 (OCtober 2007), you can complete your requirements till October 2008.. if you incurred an INC during the second semester it will lapse during the summer of next academic year . example: yung sa thesis ko i incurred an INC on the SS, AY 2007-08 (that wass March 2008), pero my deadline is still on the May 2009 (fortunately, i'm done with this). yun yung meaning ng one year.. i think i incurred an INC for 5x or 6x na.. and cinocomplete ko yun a year after pa... kaya 90% sure ako na ito talaga ang one year na sinasabi... still, it would be better if you will check the crsis for the academic calendar( i think completion period goes with removal period).. or the best solution is to visit your college sec.. |

I went to our College Sec's office the other week and they reminded me again of my "INC". After showing them my copy of grades, the staff confirmed what natnat above clarified. An INC incurred during the 1st sem will lapse on the 1st sem of the next academic week, after the removal period. I guess they were a bit disoriented with my grades last time because I already have 3 INCs. -- Anyway, are INCs considered a bad record on your transcript? For me, it's a strategy to buy more time to complete an experiment or paper. |

natnat expert! gaga!  jowl! so may 1 sem pa pala ako para sa inc ko nung 1st sem last year...sabi ko tatapusin ko na dapat ngayong summer pero nung nabasa ko to parang tinamad ulit ako...hahaha...go procrastination!  |

dagdag lang: naku bad record nga ang INC.. nung job interview ko last month, tinanong ako bakit ako nagka-INC sa ganito at ganung subjects.. eh andami pa namang ganun sa TOR ko... ang hirap sagutin napa-ahh ako.. |
