1. Smartbro is NOT a broadband . . it is only a wifi that have substations

2. The true about the slowing of the service is the continues installing of antenna without upgrading their substations....

3. Your antenna is not just a piece of scrap.. Smartbro is using a MOTOROLA CANOPY antenna rating to 5.7GHz below.. MOTOROLA sold this unit for 50,000 pesos for retail. . but smart got it for only 12,000 pesos because they have a contract with motorola. . imagine all the antenna on your barangay would connect to the substati0n on the same time, expect for a slower connection then.

4. MOTOROLA CANOPY is a programmable hardware that can be program to capture wifi signal over 5.7GHz . . that means it's a hacking tool. . wahahaha

I guess this is true with most other services, not just Smart Bro. Tragedy of the commons.

Smart Prepaid Bro really sucks! My sister bought one and it's completely and unreasonably slow considering that we have full bars of Smart signal in the apartment.

Rex, Sun Cellular's unlimited wireless internet is so much better than Smart Bro. Speed is almost the same as that of the PLDT's.

Perhaps the signal in your apartment is only GPRS which is only up to 56kbps. If you get at least a 3G signal, you will get a much faster speed up to 386kbps.
