Current fave read: 20,000 Leagues under the Sea ni Jules Verne.

Currently looking for Marcus Chown's Quantum Theory Cannot Hurt You.

Shouldn't this thread be in the Arts and Literature forum?

^Ahh, yes I think so..

Favorite book? Nothing really, I prefer short reads like Nat'l Geo or Reader's Digest. But I was forced in high school to read The Good Earth by Pearl S. Buck and Without Seeing the Dawn by Stevan Javellana. I really liked those.

Isa sa mga gusto ko yung Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafon. Kung Filipino author, yung kay Edgardo Reyes naman na Sa Mga Kuko ng Liwanag

One of the best books that I have read is The Soul of the Filipino  by Miguel Reyes Reynaldo. it was published early this year in the United States.
An autobiographical in style, this book tackles so many issues that greatly shaped not only his native province, Aklan, but also the Philippines. It's a book that you want to finish reading it in one setting.
This book, I believe, should be read by all Filipinos.
The only problem with this book is that it has several typographical errors.
