The candidate who has a greater machinery has a greater chance of winning this May. It seems to be like this. Wink

I just learned from a simple illustration what this C-5 controversy is all about. MCTEP is the original plan while C-5 extension is the existing road.

I just learned from a simple illustration what this C-5 controversy is all about. MCTEP is the original plan while C-5 extension is the existing road.

This C5 issue clearly demonstrates how one man has used his position and power to manipulate things to his advantage (and a very huge one, at that). Now, if a person can do this when he is not even at the highest position, I shudder to think what more he can do once he gets the presidency.

very much true... sana mas marami ang nag-iisip nang ganito kesa sa mga nadadala doon sa mga TV ads at nakaka-LSS na jingles nya...

it would be really nice.. but the truth is Filipino voters are not really that mature.. sayang it should be a Gordon vs Gibo match.. Gordon with a lot of accomplishments and Gibo who is intelligent and articulate...

oh wait i thought malakas si Gibo sa UP? Roll Eyes but it seems na ang layo ng lamang ni Gordon sa kanya... and if you will try to check the breakdown of the results, si Manny Villar ang leading sa UPV... oh no

Does accomplishments and being articulate make a person a good leader/president? Can these two resolve the root of the Filipino problems?
We've seen several intelligent and articulate Presidents and most of them left a messed up government. Let's take Arroyo, Ramos and Marcos as examples. I know, they did a lot of good things for the country but they also tolerated corruption and rotten governance.
I guess, what the country needs is the leader who can conscienciously execute the laws of the nation, who is loyal to the Filipinos, who can fight against the corruption and who lives in a simple and humble life.

To all registered voters, this link might be of help in locating your assigned precincts during May 10 elections. http://www.comelec.gov.ph/precinctfinder/precinctfinder.aspx

There were some text messages from volunteers of one of the political parties suggesting people to check their precinct assignments at their local COMELEC office, but just can’t imagine how costly and time-consuming for some people to go there just to do some checking. So this will give us more options.
