would you like to buy Rex? I can sell it to you with the same price (P50)...
Hehe...

By the way, I have about 200 DVDs already in just 6 months... Haha!
Did you watch all that? Shocked You have got to be a movie addict! haha
I hardly watch movies myself kasi.. but some friends invited me to watch Jeux D'Enfants - Love Me If You Dare earlier and it was really great! The story was sort of weird, amusing, and touching. The cinematography was superb!

I watched all of that. Hehe... It's a matter of time management, Rex. I admit that I'm a movie addict. I even watched my favorite movies at least three times.

Love Me If You Dare is one of the most weird movies I ever watched. But you're right that cinematography is the best! The ending is so, so, so very weird... Nothing can be compared to such a movie.

no country for old men

watched this over the weekend on dvd. now i know why it won best picture. it takes an open mind and a deep understanding to truly grasp what the movie is all about. there is a need for in-depth analysis of characters.

a highly recommended film for philo class. amo ni ang mga types of movies na gusto ko gid ubrahan reaction paper. weeeh! okay

the other boleyn girl

watched this last week. i was kinda disappointed.. it was not the movie that i hoped to see. maybe i expected more from it.

the movie is basically about the boleyn family, particularly the boleyn sisters who were  linked with king henry VIII. the story focused on sibling rivalry. i was hoping it could have touched how henry VIII separated with the catholic church and established the anglican church.

think twice before you see this movie in cinema, that is if you intend to.

Good posts janissary! I actually have little movie reviews of my own (in my blog) too. Maybe I'll post it here, when my domain's recovered. *crosses fingers*

Due to a high school 'reunion', I got to watch another movie just this afternoon.

I got a douse of nostalgia upon watching the movie Speed Racer. The catchy theme song Go Rpeed Racer reminded me of the times I watched the cartoons in Cartoon Network.

I found the movie rather boring at first but I was soon absorbed into the action as the story piled up towards the climax. There is an interesting mix of comedy, action, and drama. I recommend the movie for children, and children-at-heart.

date: may 31, 2008
where: SM Mall of Asia, pasay
movie: Sex and the City

what can i say: i like it because it doesn't try to be funny but IT IS FUNNY. i haven't watched the series but i was able to follow the story line. the story revolves around the friendship of four girls, love, mid-life crisis, relationships, commitments, sex? oh well. gamay lang nga sex. hehe. daw disappointed noh? it is pg-13!

who am i with: levi, joannie, and kuya germs Grin

favorite lines:
lily (when answering the phone): "sex"
charlotte: "i curse the day you were born"
carrie: "the most exciting, challenging and significant relationship of all is the one you have with yourself. and if you find someone to love the you love, well, that's just fabulous"

Cloverfield

One of the most amazing movies I ever watched. Though a lot of friends had negative comments, I find the movie so interesting. I got hooked up to the movie because it is different; not the type of movie we always watch. Cinematography is awesome!!!

Are there aliens in that movie?

The Fountain

I watched the movie last night and blood was dripping heavily out of my nose. Lol. Really, I kind of cannot get the flow of the story (or maybe I'm just too damn slow). When I saw its poster before, I thought it was a story like "The Promise" (starring our local actors) defying the boundaries of time. (I didn't get the chance to see it either). Like every other else, it's about love.

Watch at your own risk. innocent

Yes Nelson, there are.

The Eye Hollywood version

This movie is a disappointment compared to the original! I was actually horrified with the original "The Eye" movie but after I watched the Hollywood version, I realized that Asians have a lot of talents than I thought we have...

Just watch the two versions of the movie and you will agree with me.
